Embarking on a whimsical journey inspired by the sacred symbolism of "bread and wine," our space playfully nods to monastic architecture, infusing it with a twist that veers dramatically from the conventional monastic norms. This idyllic "monastery" resonates with a Rabelaisian spirit, dedicating itself not to solemn rituals but to a community in communion—a gathering of friends partaking in Supper and Spirits, and knights in pursuit of their lady's heart while exploring the Holy Grail, conveniently located in the wine section.

In a nod to religious imagery, the ambiance features church bell pendants, stone walls reminiscent of monastic architecture, and austere solid furniture, all crafted with an irreverent yet tender touch toward orthodox symbols. Custom-designed chairs, benches, and tables made from solid ash contribute to the distinctive atmosphere, while ceramic church bell pendants cast a warm glow over the space. The original floor, discovered beneath layers of recent interventions, adds a touch of authenticity to the setting.

Patrons partake in a shared ritual, dipping their hands into the holy water and connecting as they wash over the baptismal vase. The absence of mirrors in the restrooms reflects the belief that everyone is already perfect in this heavenly place, mirroring the ethos of the Gargantuan Abbaye de Thélème.

The color palette abstains from vibrant hues, embracing the natural textures of wood and limestone. These elements, resembling the tones of bread's crumb and crust, immerse patrons in a sensory experience that aligns with the sacred undertones of "bread and wine." This unconventional monastery transcends traditional norms, creating a space where humor, irreverence, and a touch of the divine coalesce into a truly unique and enchanting environment.
